I have been working in professional video productions since 2018 and in the Film & TV-industry since 2021. My main focus is in writing and directing both documentaries and fiction.
I'm open to work with corporate video productions, Film & TV work and providing lectures or workshops for individuals or universities.

Background
In 2017, I found a passion for storytelling through filmmaking. For the first 5 years, I made video productions for artists, marketing agencies, businesses and organizations. I learned my way through small and mid-sized productions, especially in the B2B field. I have experience in writing, producing, lighting, cinematography, directing, editing, color grading and basic audio work. We run a video production company LöylyMedia in Helsinki, Finland.
My debut as a writer and director in the TV industry was in 2024, when we made a documentary series for YLE, the Finnish Broadcast Company about young homeless people in Finland. It got nominated by the Finnish Television Academy for an award. The second documentary series "Velkaantuneet" was published in 2026.
My heart beats for honest documentaries and good drama and comedy. At the moment I am focusing on documentaries and developing my skills in fiction. In the future, I want to write and direct drama or comedy in the form of feature films or TV-series. I hope to work on international projects as well.
As a colorist I have been working in various projects from music videos and corporate videos to short films, documentary-series and a feature film and hope to work on more projects in the future.
Creative voice
Besides the fact that I'm self-taught and been working in various different kinds of projects with different people, my own life experiences has been strongly been affecting my creative voice and the way I work.
Dealing with hardships of life during my young adulthood and being socially versatile has gifted me with a broad view and understanding on humans and the world we live in. I am interested in learning more of what can be found outside of my own social bubble. My own experiences makes me a better writer and a empathetic director that is easy to get along with and trust.

I prioritize in clear, honest communication and building trust with everyone I work with. When we work with individuals we trust and feel comfortable with, we get the best results. I want to create a space where there is room to play and express different kind of ideas. This is team work and we work as humans, with humans.
